Job Summary

Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Location: Woodland CA 95776/Onsite

Shift Timings: 1st shift 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri

Note: Interview Process: 1 round onsite interview with hiring team.

Summary of Job:

The Manufacturing Associate performs daily manufacturing operations in a cleanroom environment while ensuring compliance with company procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). This role involves producing inspecting packaging and documenting products while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. The associate will work with laboratory and manufacturing equipment follow aseptic techniques and support production schedules to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.

Must-have/Required skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in an FDA-regulated or GMP environment
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and cleanroom operations
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
  • Basic equipment monitoring and maintenance skills
  • Ability to perform quality inspections on materials and finished products
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience working in Class 100 or Class 1000 cleanroom environments
  • Knowledge of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Familiarity with GDP (Good Documentation Practices)
  • Experience handling laboratory or manufacturing equipment
  • Experience assisting with SOP development or revisions

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manufacturing Operations
    • Manufacture and process products in a cleanroom environment following company procedures and cGMP standards
    • Perform formulating finishing manufacturing and filling processes with minimal supervision
    • Ensure production schedules and deadlines are met to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Quality & Inspection
    • Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials and finished products
    • Inspect packaging components such as bottles labels and heat shrinks to ensure quality standards are met
    • Report quality or safety issues to supervisors immediately
  • Inventory & Material Handling
    • Sort and place materials on racks shelves or bins according to inventory procedures
    • Move stacks of crates from freezer areas to packaging areas using hand trucks or dollies
    • Label bag box and palletize finished products according to plant requirements
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Complete batch records accurately and in a timely manner
    • Record readings from laboratory and manufacturing equipment
    • Follow GDP (Good Documentation Practices) and maintain compliance documentation
    • Provide input for creating or updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Equipment & Maintenance
    • Monitor manufacturing equipment and perform basic cleaning and maintenance tasks
    • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any issues
  • Training & Workplace Organization
    • Maintain clean and organized production areas
    • Keep personal training documentation up to date
    • Assist in training new employees when required
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Perform special assignments or additional production tasks as required
    • Support continuous improvement and compliance initiatives

Working Conditions:

  • Work performed in a cleanroom and controlled manufacturing environment
  • Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs occasional lifting of up to 60 lbs
  • Possible use of noxious or hazardous chemicals with proper PPE
  • Protective equipment may include gloves freezer jackets or jumpsuits safety eyewear and protective footwear
  • Work may involve freezer environments and industrial cleaning products
