Responsible for performing diagnostic sonographic examinations using high-frequency sound waves to image internal organs in the diagnosis of disease and will be responsible for the following duties.

- Performdiagnosticultrasound proceduresaccordingtoestablishedprotocols.
- Knowledgeofultrasoundequipmentandimaging techniques
- Abilitytooperateandadjustequipmentsettingstoobtainhigh-qualityimages.
- Prepareandpositionpatientsforimagingproceduresensuringcomfortandsafety.
- Analyzeimagesandcommunicatefindingstophysiciansforinterpretationandpatient diagnosis.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all medical information.
- Mustbeknowledgeableofthefundamentals andcomfortablewiththeeverydayuseof PACS RIS systems as well as general computer skills required to complete daily tasks.
- CPR annual certification OSHA and HIPPA yearly training required.
- ResponsibleforregisteringinallareasofultrasoundperformedatRMIincluding ABD OB/GYN Breast and Vascular registries as well as staying current on any and all continuing education.
- Attendance at meetings and training sessions may be required. These sessions could occasionally be scheduled outside of your regular working hours to accommodate business needs and training opportunities. - Minimum of one (1) -three (3) years of experience in a clinical setting

- Mustholdat leastone (1)registrywith theARDMS
- Mustcontinuetomaintaincontinuingeducationcreditsandregistryrequirementsin compliance with the ARDMS.
- Must be willing to register in all ARDMS registries required by RMI including ABD OB/GYN Breast and Vascular.A one (1) year time period is allotted to obtain any new registry.
