Job Summary

Conducts Nuclear Medicine examinations for both diagnostic and therapeutic applications under physician supervision. Responsibilities include preparing patients administering prescribed doses of radioactive and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals performing precise calculations and manipulating data in accordance with established protocols.

Ensures the proper preparation and ordering of radioactive materials calibrates equipment implements stringent quality control measures monitors patient conditions and performs additional assigned tasks.

**Required Qualifications:**

- Educational credentials to fulfill certification licensing or registration requirements.

- Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist License or Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary License.

- Upon hire: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.- Within six months (180 days) of hiring: National Registered Technologist (NRT) certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
