Job Summary

Summer Student Youth Unlimited (Peterborough ON)

Peterborough Youth Unlimited is hiring a passionate committed summer student to support programs that help young people discover hope purpose and belonging. This role is ideal for students emerging leaders and anyone who wants to invest in the lives of youth desiring to see every young person fully living in Christ.

What youll do

Build positive mentoring relationships with youth through programs and events
Support spring/summer dropins sports programs school partnerships and community outreach
Assist with planning setup and safe supervision of activities
Contribute to a welcoming inclusive environment for all youth
Work collaboratively with staff volunteers and community partners

What you bring

A heart for youth and a desire to serve Christ
Reliability maturity and strong communication skills
Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing needs
Experience with youth (formal or informal) is an asset
Willingness to participate in training and follow safety policies

Details

Parttime (10-15 hr per week)
Training provided
Seasonal spring/summer role (flexible hours and start date)
The role requires supporting the PYU team with seasonal fundraising.
Must complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
