DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for generating quarterly production plans based on demand operating goals and capacity constraints
- Generate weekly production goals and report daily on the progress
- Provide delivery schedules/commitments by product and by customer
- Prioritize production activities through dispatch lists or other means
- Highlight and escalate constraints. Interface with material planners internal factories IT manufacturing engineering and management to meet goals
- Interface and coordinate with engineering for NPI (New Product Introduction) builds/activities in the production line
- Conduct what-if analyses to enable business decisions
- Work with industrial engineers to balance the production line
Education & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a planner/scheduler preferably in semiconductor wafer fabrication environment
- BS degree relevant fields
- MS degree in MIS business analytics industrial engineering preferred.
Skills
- Familiarity with Enterprise system (e.g. Oracle) MES (e.g. CAMSTAR) and PDM systems (e.g. Agile)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Customer oriented attitude
- Expertise in MS Excel; proficiency in MS Access preferable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Be concise consistent and persistent in each daily communication.
