HR Onboarding Specialist
The Opportunity
Spring Venture Group (SVG) is seeking a business-minded analytical professional to join our growing HR team. As an HR Onboarding Specialist you are the bridge between a yes and a successful first day. You will go beyond administrative tasks to act as a brand ambassador re-recruiting our new hires to ensure they remain engaged excited and compliant as they transition into the organization.

What Youll Do
- New Hire Engagement: Conduct weekly touchpoints with incoming talent to provide updates on licensing testing and first-day expectations.
- Experience Management: Act as the primary point of contact for new hires solving logistical challenges and ensuring they feel supported before their start date.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with IT and Facilities to ensure equipment and system access are ready for Day 1.
- Compliance & Auditing: Manage the end-to-end documentation process including background checks I-9 verification and exclusion checks.
- Strategic Reporting: Utilize HR systems (Workday/ATS) to maintain data integrity perform monthly audits and report on market trends to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Communication: Lead scheduled phone touchpoints; communicate dress codes schedules and points of contact clearly.
- Retention: Re-recruit hires by reinforcing SVGs value proposition throughout the pre-boarding phase.
- Systems & Data: Manage onboarding workflows within the ATS and Workday; ensure employee files are 100% complete and compliant upon hire.
- Collaboration: Partner with Onboarding team peers to develop strategies that improve the candidate experience based on current market trends.
- Logistics: Follow up on orientation day to ensure seamless attendance and a positive initial experience.
Qualifications :
What Youll Bring to the Role
- Education & Experience: Bachelors or Associates degree in HR Business or Finance (or equivalent professional/military experience).
- Compliance Knowledge: A foundational understanding of HR/Recruiting laws and compliance standards.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; experience with Workday is a significant plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret data design reports and use critical thinking to solve process gaps.
- Communication Style: Excellent written and oral skills with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.
- Detail Orientation: A zero-error approach to managing I-9s background checks and data validation.
