Job Summary
The duties of the Resident Works Supervisor shall include but not limited to the following:
- Assist in the supervision of Contract Works including checking of setting out leveling cuttings footings and excavations by contractors
- Assist in the supervision of mixing placing and curing of concrete
- Assist in the supervision of the making of concrete cubes and the cutting of steel bars by the contractors for subsequent testing
- Assist in the recording of labour materials and plant delivered to site for compilation of site records by the Clerk of Works
- Escort the delivery of concrete cubes and other building materials to laboratories for testing as instructed
- Keep approval samples in lockable storage and check against the materials delivered to site
- Witness all site tests
- Attend site audits as required
- Carry out all such other duties as directed by the Consultant and Clerk of Works
- Assists RCOW in performing the required environmental and safety duties
Qualifications :
- Degree in Construction Building Studies or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in supervision of contract work
- Strong communication and leadership skills; fluency in English required.
