Job Summary

  • Lead coach and develop direct reports to build a high-performing Medical Affairs team with strong scientific communication and compliance capabilities.
  • Serve as a role model and mentor fostering a culture of scientific excellence collaboration accountability and continuous learning.
  • Develop and execute the local Medical Affairs plan in alignment with global and regional Medical Affairs LCM strategies and business priorities.
  • Develop pre & post medical launch plan of new products
  • Oversee and when appropriate lead high-level scientific interactions advisory boards and scientific exchange meetings.
  • Ensure clear medical governance and alignment across functions while maintaining scientific independence and compliance.
  • Oversight medical review processes documentation and quality standards across the team.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Pharmacy Life Sciences or a related field required. Advanced degree (e.g. MD PharmD MPH PhD) preferred.
  • More than 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical / Biotech industry medical affairs clinical practice or academia.
  • Essential knowledge of retinal diseases is required and must have professional experience and expertise in AMD and DME
  • Proven people management experience including coaching performance management and team development.
  • Strong scientific business acumen and learning agility to understand and interpret complex clinical data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate scientific information to diverse audiences.
  • Fluent in Korean & English spoken & written
