Project Management Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Management Officer (PMO) to support the successful delivery of technology projects across the organization. The PMO will play a critical role in ensuring project governance standardization of processes reporting and coordination across cross-functional teams.

This role will work closely with project managers technical teams stakeholders and leadership to maintain project visibility ensure adherence to PMO standards and help drive successful project outcomes within scope time and budget.

• Support the planning execution and monitoring of timecards regarding contractors across multiple teams.
• Maintain project documentation schedules risk logs and status reports.
• Ensure adherence to PMO methodologies standards and governance frameworks.
• Facilitate project status meetings steering committees and stakeholder updates.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular reporting on KPIs risks and progress.
• Coordinate communication between technical teams business stakeholders and leadership.
• Identify potential project risks or issues and help coordinate mitigation strategies.
• Maintain and improve PMO tools templates and reporting dashboards.
• Support resource planning and capacity management across projects.
• Assist in project portfolio tracking and prioritization.

Qualifications :

• 25 years of experience in project coordination PMO support or project management within an IT environment.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile Scrum Waterfall or hybrid models).
• Excellent organizational analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word).

Additional Employee Requirements  

• Participation in both internal meetings and external meetings via video calls as necessary. 
• Ability to go into corporate or client offices to work onsite as necessary. 
• Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer as necessary. 
• Ability to bend kneel crouch and reach overhead as necessary. 
• Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment as necessary. 
• Vision abilities including close vision toleration of fluorescent lighting and adjusting focus as necessary. 
• For positions that require business travel and/or event attendance ability to lift 25 lbs as necessary. 
• For positions that require business travel and/or event attendance a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record are required as driving is an essential job function.
