Job Summary

As Facility Project Engineer youll provide operational management implementing projects at the facility.

M - F 8:00am - 5:00pm

Will be doing project management with construction projects.

The Facility Engineer executes and delivers annual capital expenditure projects across our facility portfolio. This role manages the complete project lifecycle from design through closeout ensuring infrastructure improvements are completed on time within budget and to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Execute the annual capital expenditure plan delivering multiple concurrent infrastructure projects including HVAC replacements electrical upgrades roof replacements building envelope improvements and major equipment installations.
Manage all phases of project delivery from design development through construction closeout and commissioning.
Oversee contractors and construction teams to ensure work meets specifications quality standards and safety requirements.
Control project budgets and schedules proactively addressing issues to keep projects on track.
Coordinate project activities to minimize disruption to facility operations and building occupants.
Review shop drawings RFIs and change orders for technical accuracy and cost impact.
Conduct site inspections and quality control throughout construction to verify compliance with plans and specifications.
Manage project closeout including punch lists as-built documentation warranty collection and final acceptance.
Track capital spending against approved budgets and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

Required qualifications:

7 years of facility-related work experience including customer service leadership and supervisory experience with managerial responsibilities
Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance processes with understanding of construction planning and execution
Exposure to HVAC fluid handling/pumping fluid filtering mechanical systems welding and electrical systems engineering and operation
Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems with demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service
