Were looking for an HR Generalist Trainee to join our Human Resources team in Lisboa Portugal. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to launch a career in human resources and gain hands-on experience across all core HR functions. You will work alongside experienced HR professionals supporting the full employee lifecycle while developing a comprehensive understanding of HR operations compliance and best practices within our organization.
- Assist with recruitment activities including job posting distribution resume screening interview scheduling and candidate communication
- Support the onboarding process for new employees including documentation preparation orientation coordination and system setup
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and attention to detail
- Help coordinate employee relations activities including benefits administration leave management and employee inquiries
- Assist in organizing training programs and professional development initiatives
- Support HR compliance activities and ensure adherence to employment regulations
- Prepare HR reports and documentation as requested by senior HR staff
- Provide administrative support to the HR department including scheduling filing and general office management
- Participate in HR projects and special initiatives to gain exposure to various HR functions
- Respond to employee questions and concerns in a professional and supportive manner
Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree Human Resources or similar
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English; Portuguese language skills are a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems
- Solid understanding of HR fundamentals and employment practices
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to tasks
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Customer service orientation and supportive demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred: Previous HR internship HR coursework or exposure to HR functions
- Preferred: Familiarity with Portuguese labor laws and employment regulations
- Preferred: Experience with HR information systems or HRIS platforms
