The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is looking for a Professional Engineer to join our team in the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) program of the Water Quality Division. This position is responsible for engineering review and analysis to ensure public drinking water facilities are constructed and operated in compliance with statutes policies and state and federal regulations. This position works with facilities and provides engineering project management for a variety of technically complex projects. The position will complete assessments for water system planning design capacity construction management operations maintenance and financing to ensure drinking water facilities are providing optimal levels of performance. This position acts as an engineering liaison for the Department to the public and municipalities on matters associated with water system engineering plan documents design standards processes products operations and policies.
