Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experiencedProcurement Specialistto join our manufacturing team inStevensville this role you will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement of raw materials components and services required to support continuous production schedules. You will leverage your deep manufacturing background to optimize supplier relationships negotiate high-value contracts and ensure that all purchased items meet strict quality and cost standards.

Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify and qualify domestic and international suppliers for raw materials and industrial equipment. Lead RFQs and negotiate favorable pricing volume discounts and long-term supply agreements.
Purchase Order Management: Create process and track purchase orders (POs) from initial entry through receipt ensuring data integrity within theERP/MRP system.
Production Support: Coordinate closely with engineering and production teams to align purchasing activities with technical specifications and build schedules.
Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts while minimizing excess inventory. Implement cost-saving initiatives and produce monthly reports on raw material pricing trends.
Vendor Performance: Evaluate supplier reliability and quality performance handling claims for defects or shortages and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
