Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals in a fast-paced litigation environment. The role involves managing legal documentation coordinating schedules and ensuring smooth administrative operations within the legal team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare format and manage litigation documents and pleadings.
- Handle court filings and maintain accurate legal records.
- Manage multiple calendars track court deadlines and coordinate meetings.
- Maintain organized document management systems and ensure accurate data entry.
- Draft legal correspondence memos and basic legal documents.
- Communicate professionally with clients attorneys and external vendors.
Qualifications
- 3 years of legal administrative or legal assistant experience in a law firm.
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures.
- Experience with court filings; multi-state filing experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with document management or legal practice software (such as NetDocuments Centerbase or similar systems) is preferred.
- Strong writing organizational and communication skills.
Compensation
Salary up to $75000 depending on experience.
