Title:EngineeringManager

Department:Legacy Hotel

Position Summary:TheEngineering Managersupportsthe Chief Engineer inoverseeing the maintenance and operation of all hotel equipment systems and building components. This role helps ensure the property ismaintainedin a safe efficient and operationally sound condition for guests and team members.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Support and help manage the hotels comprehensive maintenance program including HVAC refrigeration plumbing electrical water treatment preventive maintenance guest rooms air handling units ice machines pools lighting kitchen equipment emergency generators water softeners electrical substations exhaust systems and related infrastructure

• Ensure prompt effective response to maintenance requests and service issues

• Collaborate closely with Housekeeping Guest Services and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize guest disruption

• Assistwith assigning work to technicians andmonitoringtimelycompletion of repairs and maintenance tasks

• Perform hands-on maintenance and minor repairs including painting plumbing electrical wiring HVAC work and general facility upkeep usingappropriate tools

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance such as checking motors belts fluid levels filters and equipment performance

• Perform select repairs on mechanical electrical plumbing kitchen and minor laundry equipment as needed

• Support compliance with all applicable safety health and regulatory requirements

• Maintain a safe work environment including proper documentation and management of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

• Communicate major repair needs system upgrades or equipment concerns to the Chief Engineerin a timely manner

• Maintainaccuraterecords of completed work and equipment serviced

• Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication with colleagues and other departments

• Respond to guest inquiries related to hotel services and local area information in a courteous and professional manner

• Protect confidential guest and proprietary informationin accordance withcompany policies

• Perform other duties as requested by management

Qualifications:

• 35 yearsof maintenance or facilities experience ideally in hospitality property management or commercial buildings

• Working knowledge of basic repair disciplines (plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry painting)

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word Excel & PowerPoint

• Strong knowledge of building systems safety standards and preventative maintenance

• Knowledge of Opera or other hotel PMS system is a plus

• Basic IT abilities are a plus

• Mustmaintaincomposure and objectivity while in stressfulhigh-pressuresituations

• Musthave a positive attitude and have a team mindset.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Ability to lift carry movepushand pull equipment or boxes up to60lbs

• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift

• Ability to work on various indoor and outdoor surfaces including grass turf courts all weather

• Must be able to bend stoopsquatand stretch to fulfill engineering tasks.

• Must be able to climb stairs on a continuous basis.

• Requires grasping writing standing sitting walking repetitive motions bending climbinglisteningand hearing ability and visual acuity.

• Requires manual dexterity to use andoperateall necessary equipment.

• Must be able tooperateoffice equipment such as computers

• Ability towork days nights weekends and holidays as needed
