Position Purpose: Responsible for supporting all of the Outdoor Discovery School programs. Ensure the maintenance of equipment vehicles program sites and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Order receive label and organize equipment for Outdoor Discovery School programs.

  • Ensure the maintenance of Outdoor Discovery Schools equipment and program locations to ensure safety.

  • Coordinate with Facilities and Retail Operations to ensure efficient and complete site setup and breakdown

  • Communicate with Instructors Program Coordinators and Administrative personnel to identify program needs and provide updates regarding program and site preparation.

  • Purchase supplies (food first aide etc.) and equipment to support ODS programs.

  • Maintain vehicles and trailers by ensuring that registrations insurance maintenance logs safety checks and repairs are completed and up to date.

Education Level: Less than High School

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to drive company vehicles and trailers

  • Comfortable being in a power boat transporting equipment and supplies to island sites

  • Heavy Lifting- will be moving canoes kayaks paddleboards and other large/bulky items
