Were looking for a Full-stack/Backend Developer

Are you an experienced Full-stack - Backend Developer who enjoys building new features improving existing ones and getting involved in exciting projects that influence an innovative business Then youre the one were looking for!

What youll be doing:

We have several engineering teams such as Customer Facing Warehouse Management Systems Core Systems Pricing and Marketplaces all working on different topics - lets discuss further which team would be the best match for you!
Developing new features for our re-commerce platform.
One current project is improving book tags to make book searches more efficient as well as constantly enhancing user profiles wish lists alerts and shopping the future we plan to add features like community elements and recommendations.
We are looking for developers who are not afraid to bring new ideas and actively contribute to the innovation of our product.
Our developers are not mere code monkeys. We value discussion and continuous feedback loops. Were not afraid to reassess and choose a new approach during the development process. Join us in designing solutions setting priorities and participating in code reviews.

Tech Stack:

Languages & Frameworks: Typescript (React NestJS) MySQL Redis Manticore Kafka.
Infrastructure: We run everything on Kubernetes in AWS.
Legacy parts of the system are technologically mixed (mainly PHP) but when we interfere with them we gradually rewrite them into Typescript.

How we work:

We run two-week sprints and review our backlog twice a week.
We have daily short stand-ups and once a week we meet for Backend Tech and Frontend Tech meetings. Every two weeks we dive into technical discussions for new features.
Our office is at Kolbenova metro station and we work onsite with flexible working hours.
We dedicate time to technical debt and code clean-up.
Our team currently consists of 18 members (17 developers CTO).
Collaborate with awesome people like internal systems guru Simon and CTO David.

Our budget is 90 000 - 154000 CZK/month depending on your seniority.
