Job Summary:
The HR - ER Compliance Manager Zonal will be responsible for Employee Relations and compliance across assigned branches within the zone for the Gold Loans business. The role ensures adherence to statutory labour laws company policies audit requirements and ethical HR practices. The incumbent must be comfortable with frequent travel to branches for audits investigations and compliance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure 100% statutory compliance across branches (Shops & Establishment Act Minimum Wages Bonus Gratuity PF ESI CLRA POSH etc.).
- Conduct periodic HR compliance audits across branches.
- Maintain updated compliance trackers and documentation.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams for statutory filings and inspections.
- Support internal and external audits related to HR and labour compliance.
2. Employee Relations (ER)
- Manage employee grievance handling and resolution within defined timelines.
- Conduct disciplinary inquiries and domestic investigations where required.
- Support HRBP in handling misconduct absenteeism and performance issues.
- Ensure proper documentation of warning letters charge sheets and termination processes.
- Promote a positive employee relations climate across the zone.
- Monitor adherence to code of conduct and ethical standards.
- Partner with Business HR to address Employee issues.
- Oversee background verification and employee documentation.
3. POSH & Workplace Conduct
- Ensure compliance with POSH regulations across branches.
- Support IC inquiries and conduct awareness sessions.
4. Travel & Field Engagement
- Conduct regular branch visits across the assigned zone.
- Perform surprise compliance checks and employee engagement meetings.
- Be available for urgent ER matters and statutory inspections.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience in Employee Relations and disciplinary processes.
- Investigation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong documentation and audit management skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the zone.
