Job Summary

Ventia is seeking a Business Development Manager Resources with the drive commercial edge and industry connections to grow our presence across Iron Ore minerals Drilling and Industrial Services. This role suits a true business builder who can identify opportunities shape client solutions and convert them into long term partnerships.
Working with the GM Growth & Solutions and Resources leadership youll help execute our growth strategy by securing strategic opportunities strengthening key accounts and positioning Ventia as a preferred partner to major mining and resources clients. This role can be based out of Perth or Brisbane.

What Youll Do:

Business Development andMarket Expansion

  • Identify and pursue opportunities in line with the Resources strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients partners and industry stakeholders.
  • Support account planning for strategic clients.
  • Provide market and competitor insights to inform growth strategies.

Solution Development

  • Collaborate across operational technical and commercial teams to design scalable client centric solutions.
  • Drive cross sell opportunities across Ventias broader service portfolio.
  • Ensure solutions align with sector strategy operational feasibility and client needs.
  • Facilitate smooth handover to operations post award.

Proposal andOpportunity Management

  • Lead or support strategic bids and unsolicited proposals.
  • Prepare proposal content across technical commercial and legal components.
  • Support pricing estimating and risk analysis.
  • Champion opportunities through the full sales process from early shaping to negotiation and handover.

Client Engagement andAccount Management

  • Present solutions clearly and persuasively to clients.
  • Monitor client satisfaction support VoC activities and ensure issues are resolved.
  • Drive retention and growth within high value accounts.

What You Bring:

  • Proven success winning work in mining resources industrial services or major infrastructure.
  • Strong networks across iron ore minerals and mining services.
  • A proactive strategic commercially sharp approach to business development.
  • Ability to lead opportunities end to end and deliver results with both new and existing clients.
