Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Staff Engineer with deep expertise in Silicon design and validation to join our dynamic engineering team.
The role will include the responsibilities of being an architect for the HMID Silicon team. Function will bridge between various functions like Silicon Design Silicon Validation and Firmware.
In this role you will be hands-on throughout the entire development process from initial specification and architecture through implementation and validation industrialization and firmware development. You will collaborate closely with other engineers and contribute technical leadership while also supporting project coordination and team collaboration.
As a Senior Staff Engineer you will become a strong contributor to a highly skilled Touch Controller Business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive specifications of Touch Controller products and IPs.
- Drive technical discussions to conclusion in cross functional teams.
- Drive projects from start to finish.
- Support project planning and coordination helping to align design activities across teams to reach overall project goals.
- Contribute to design and validation of Touch Controller products and IPs.
- Contribute to design reviews and design documentation.
- Comply with and improve development methodology and quality flow.
- Work in a team environment and with cross-functional teams.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field.
- 15 years of experience in Silicon development.
- Extensive experience in Silicon design validation and/or FW development.
- Experience in project management and mentoring.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; able to work effectively across teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Individual contributor as well as a team player.
Preferred (one or several of)
- Proven record of mentoring or leading development teams.
- Programming skills in languages such as TCL Python Perl C or C
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux based operating systems.
