Job Description:
Summary & Purpose of the Position
To Lead cross functional Brand Team and drive local Brand Strategy. Ensure Execution Excellence of the Brand Plan for the country. Translate key customer insights into effective promotional campaigns that drive short and long-term product growth and meet/exceed the brands annual forecast projections.
Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies
- Drive local brand and portfolio strategy
- Develop superior Multi channel Brand Plan strategy and action plans though strong alignment with local Medical Sales Access and with Global marketing counterparts. Based on market insights
- Develop mitigation plans for key market challenges (e.g. competitive launches or significant competitive change) and instore a competitive mindset
- Partner with Brand Manager counterpart in the cluster to identify synergies and avoid duplications
- Contribute to Market Access Pricing and Commercial policy activities
- Plan and use market research to continuously evaluate strategy and monitor performance
- Execute aligned tactical initiatives across the medicomarketing mix
- Lead cross functional Brand Team to monitor execution excellence and maintain effective level of collaboration
- Execute communication campaigns and programs to deliver brand strategysales and expenditure objectives.
- Identify innovative mechanisms to engage and provide value to key customers and differentiate Ipsen based on key company and brand strengths
- Monitor competitive landscape and develop communications and action plans as needed
- Apply creativity innovation & out-of-box thinking to solve complex business / marketplace issues
- Work closely with vendors to conceptualize develop and execute all patient education and promotional materials and programs
- Implement a ROI measurement plan to assess impact of key tactics on marketing and sales growth; make adjustments with a sense of urgency
- Support the development and execution of highly effective sales training meetings
- Support effective engagement and communication with the Field Sales Force and gather insights directly from key customers
- Stakeholder Engagement and Influence
- Serve as champion for Opinion Leaders including identifying and applying customer insights through market research and KOL engagement as well as leading strategic and tactical development of targeted initiatives and materials.
- Build and leverage effective relationships with key customers across business segments including: HCPs Patients advocacy group nurses .
- Create and implement sales collateral and patient education materials
- Connect and interact with key internal stakeholders and regional management to inform and get approval on local strategy
- Ensure that the marketing processes programs and internal reports are developed implemented and effectively administered to be consistent with Ipsens corporate guidance and all regulatory legal ethical SOPs
Knowledge & Experience (essential):
- Specialist and/or hospital product experience
- Proven track record of working with Pharmaceutical Specialised products preferably within the Cluster/Country Market
- Significant experience in and knowledge of specialty markets with complex science and reimbursement
- Experience working within an environment of strict compliance to all appropriate regulatory guidelines to successfully design and execute tactics programs and tools that achieve business objectives.
- Extensive experience and knowledge in the indication field. Established relationships with KOLs patient groups etc
- Strong analytical and numerical skills and an ability to manage complex situations and make expedient decisions execute plans and achieve outcomes
- Excellent organisation implementation budgetary and project management abilities
- Creativity out of the box thinking winning mindset
Knowledge & Experience (preferred):
- - Extensive knowledge and experience in a Pharmaceutical industry environment and the indication field
- - Experience in portfolio management in highly competitive markets
- - Regional or global marketing experience is a plus
Education / Certifications (essential):
- Science/Medical related and Business/Marketing related qualifications at a Post Graduate level.
Education / Certifications (preferred):
- Science/Medical related and Business/Marketing related qualifications at a Master or PhD level.
Language(s) (essential):
High Level verbal and written English and Dutch/French.
