Your Day as a PMHNP
Start at 7:45 with a team huddle to connect and prep for the day. Coordinate schedules with students and teammates while reviewing your patient list.
Most patient slots are 10 minutes every 30 minutes. Complex or high-risk patients take longer. You make rapid medical decisions sometimes handling suicidal or violent patientswith support from the team.
Throughout the day you collaborate mentor students and contribute to a high-performing team. You finish knowing you impacted dozens of patients while staying supported and resilient.
This is fast-paced and challengingbut deeply rewarding for PMHNPs who thrive on efficiency teamwork and tangible patient results.
The Process
Video Application: Submit a 35 minute video answering specific questions. Deadline: 1 week.
Shadow Day: Experience a full day with our PMHNPs and see the pace patient flow and team culture.
Decision: We make offers within 1 day of shadowing.
Typical timeline: 12 weeks from application to offer.
What Youll Earn
Base: $124700/year ($65/hr 9.5 hours/day 4 days/week)
Top Performer: $137960 base ($70/hr) $66560 RVU incentive $204520/year
RVU: $20 per patient over 16/day
Expectation: 16 patients/day
11.5 hours daily administrative time
