About the Position Position/Specialty: CVOR RN Shift: 4x10s 7a-5p Is on-call REQ (Y/N): Yes every 3rd-4th weekend call One-Two Weekday Calls Weekend REQ: (YES) : Every 3rd to 4th as needed Will this traveler float between service lines (Y/N) Yes Floating Req to Sister Facilities: (Y/N) No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 3 years First time travelers accepted: Yes with experience License REQ: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license Certs REQ: BLS Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Special Requirements: CVOR experience (entails CABG VASCULAR and Thoracic experience) Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule (Y/N): Yes approval can be requested prior to assignment but not guaranteed. Based on facility needs. Local Radius: 60-mile radius rule Locals Accepted: No local travelers accepted RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Acute Care Total Staffed Beds: 276 Scrub Color: Scrubs are provided Charting: Epic Parking Cost: None Hurricane Season** Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem please ensure travelers do not confirm a NEW or EXT assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
