Compensation
- Base Salary: $65000-$80000 (based on experience)
- Quarterly Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses tied to café financialperformance guest satisfaction and team engagement
- OpeningBonus: $5000one-time bonus paid out on first anniversary of successful café opening
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experiencedenergetic and hands-on General Manager (GM) to lead the founding team atParis Baguette Bellingham MA.
This is a rare opportunity to buildand lead a café from the ground up with one of the fastest growing bakerycafé brands in the United States.
The GM will be responsible for hiringand developing a high-performing team executing a successful café opening anddriving strong operational performance and profitability.
High-performing GMs will have futureleadership opportunities as we expand multiple Paris Baguette locations inthe Greater Boston market.
This role requires a one month offully paid culinary training at Paris Baguettes training center in NewJersey alongside owners and the baking and cake decoration crew.
What We Are Looking For
- 35 years of experience as a General Manager at top tier café bakery brands QSR concepts restaurants or grocery foodservice operations with national presence
- Experience opening and successfully operating high-volume cafés or restaurants ($60k weekly sales preferred)
- Ability to hire train and retain a high-performing team of 30-40 employees
- Strong experience managing restaurant P&L including labor scheduling and food cost control
- Experience with early morning bakery production and food preparation environments
- High standards for cleanliness guest satisfaction and operational excellence
- Strong comfort with POS systems dashboards and operational KPIs
- Ability to think and act like an owner proactively solving problems and driving results
Pre-Opening Responsibilities:
- Hire and build a best-in-class team ofbakers cakers and front-of-house staff
- Prepare the team for one-month culinarytraining in New Jersey
- Recruit and onboard 30-40 employees aheadof opening
- Build strongteam culture and retention strategies prior to opening
Post-Opening Responsibilities:- Lead allaspects of daily café operations including baking production servicestaffing and cleanliness
- Hire trainand develop a high-performing operations team
- Manage café P&Lperformance including labor scheduling and food cost control
- Driveadditional revenue through catering third-party delivery and localpartnerships
- Deliver dailyweekly and monthly operational reporting to ownership
- Maintainexceptional guest experience standards
- Lead localmarketing and community engagement initiatives
- Build a positivehigh-performance team culture
- Ensurecompliance with health safety and food safety regulations
- Becomecertified in the Paris Baguette food safety program within 30 days
