Sr Strategic Sourcing Specialist

You will report directly to our Director of Strategic Sourcing and youll work out of our Phoenix AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role you will impact the company by ensuring the delivery of compliant FAR15 packages to the US government executing strategic long-term agreements with suppliers and driving cost savings through effective negotiation and supplier management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs quality and delivery performance.
• Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them.
• Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 8 years of experience in Procurement Supply Chain Business or Finance.
• Strong negotiation skills and processes.
• Ability to independently lead multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of DoD procurement life cycle and related regulations.
• Experience with SAP or similar procurement systems.

WE VALUE

• Bachelors Degree in Business Procurement Supply Chain Finance or Technical discipline.
• Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations.
• Procurement experience within aerospace technologies or similar industry.
• Significant experience managing subcontracts (FFP CP CPIF etc.).
• Ability to negotiate terms and conditions effectively.
