Windchill- Windchill is a premier Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software designed for mid-to-large enterprises to manage product data processes and lifecycles from design to manufacturing. It offers robust capabilities for CAD data management bill of materials (BOM) management configuration and change management. IBM Maximo Application Suite 7.6 - (they are moving to Maximo 9.x) Fleet Watch - preferred
Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Application Architect to drive application architecture and development initiatives. This role will collaborate with customer teams ensure alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks and guide teams through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply application architecture concepts to support development of functional requirements.
- Coordinate work to prevent overlap and align with IT strategy SDLC and enterprise standards.
- Develop as-is and to-be architecture artifacts: system connect diagrams reference models software requirements interface docs data dictionaries and staging plans.
- Collaborate with data and infrastructure architects engineers and program managers to ensure system integrity.
- Guide business/test analysts and documentation specialists.
- Complete mandatory annual security awareness training.
- Review system hardening and assist in vulnerability remediation.
- Plan and deploy complex custom web applications and process improvements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years in application architecture and software development (web & mobile).
- Experience with O365 tools MS Visio Moqups Excel Word PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to coordinate software requirements and work with development teams.
- Experience administering and architecting Business Process Management systems.
- Strong analytical verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Windchill (PLM) IBM Maximo Application Suite 7.6 and Fleet Watch (preferred).
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Management Information Systems or related discipline
