Job Summary
Role: Senior Finance Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
Location: Canada/Remote
Duration: 12 month
Client is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) to support a large-scale transformation this role you will work alongside a high-performing team of architects functional leaders and solution specialists to design and deliver a modern enterprise solution that drives meaningful operational and financial impact. This engagement offers the opportunity to contribute to a complex implementation while collaborating with experienced delivery teams and shaping the design and execution of a strategic transformation program.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide functional leadership and subject matter expertise for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Lead finance and project accounting design and configuration within D365 F&O.
- Collaborate with solution architects technical teams and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Support solution architecture discussions and implementation planning.
- Participate in workshops system design sessions and testing activities.
- Provide guidance on best practices for financial processes within D365 F&O.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across functional technical and operational requirements.
Required Experience
- Strong functional expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O).
- Deep knowledge of Project Accounting within D365.
- Experience with Trust Accounting processes.
- Proven experience contributing to solution architecture and enterprise-scale implementation programs.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with architects functional consultants and delivery teams.
- Experience working in complex transformation or ERP implementation environments.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Strong understanding of financial systems ERP processes and enterprise accounting workflows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to operate effectively within cross-functional and distributed delivery teams.
- Must be a resident of Canada and physically located in Canada.
