Job Description;

Must have skill: Hands on experience in building data analytics platforms with advanced AI techniques including GenAI.

We are seeking a Telecom Business Analyst with strong experience in network deployment data production data analysis and telecom operations to work closely with our Databricks engineering teams AI/ML teams and Network Engineering organization.

This role is responsible for transforming raw network production data into business insights that inform:

  • Prompt engineering strategies
  • Value quantification frameworks
  • ROI measurement models
  • Data-centric solution adoption

You will serve as the bridge between network engineering data engineering product and security/platform governance teams to ensure enterprise grade reliability compliance and performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Analysis & Data Insight Development

  • Work with Databricks data engineering teams to understand data pipelines schemas and transformations across network deployment and production systems.
  • Analyze large-scale network datasets (5G/4G build data configuration data deployment milestones site on-air performance NOC events provisioning trends).
  • Identify patterns correlations and gaps to derive actionable business insights for engineering and leadership.
  • Translate insights into clear business narratives KPIs and recommendations that shape decision-making.

2. Prompt Engineering Enablement for Network Teams

  • Convert data-driven insights into prompt engineering priorities for network engineering teams.
  • Help define and refine targeted prompts that assist engineers in:
    • Value quantification
    • ROI justification
    • Deployment optimization
    • Network quality improvement
  • Create prompt templates context guides guardrails and evaluation frameworks based on business logic and data behaviors.

3. Collaboration with Data Teams (Databricks Ecosystem)

  • Work closely with Databricks platform engineers to:
    • Identify required data tables and gold/silver layers
    • Validate data quality and lineage
    • Ensure correct business interpretation of curated datasets
  • Participate in architecture discussions data model reviews and UAT cycles for new data products.
  • Support A/B experiments pilot programs and validation of AI/ML or LLM assisted solutions.

4. Solution ROI Modeling & Value Measurement

  • Build frameworks that quantify benefits such as:
    • Time-to-resolution reduction
    • Deployment speed improvement
    • Cost savings from automation
    • Efficiency gains from prompt assisted tasks
  • Work with Finance/Product teams to develop evidence-backed ROI models for data-centric solutions.

5. Cross-Functional Leadership & Governance

  • Act as the liaison between business engineering product platform and security teams.
  • Ensure proposed solutions adhere to:
    • Enterprise security guidelines
    • Data governance policies
    • Model and prompt safety standards
    • Reliability and performance benchmarks
  • Participate in operational readiness reviews (ORRs) and standardization cycles.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of Telecom network data including:
    • Network deployment lifecycle
    • RF/Performance metrics
    • OSS/BSS data flows
    • Network inventory topology configuration
  • Hands-on experience analyzing production datasets in:
    • Databricks
    • PySpark / SQL
  • Hands on experience in building data analytics platforms with advanced AI techniques including GenAI.
  • Ability to interpret data models jobs pipelines ETL/ELT processes.

Business & Product Skills

  • Experience delivering business insights to network engineering RF optimization or deployment teams.
  • Strong KPI interpretation skills (build velocity QoS trouble ticket trends capacity).
  • Ability to convert data behaviors into business value narratives.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management (Engineering Product Security Data).
  • Strong communicator able to convert technical details into business recommendations.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced multi-disciplinary data-driven environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a North American telecom operator (AT&T / Verizon / T Mobile / Comcast / Rogers / Bell / Telus).
  • Exposure to AI/ML data science or LLM-driven transformation projects.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks (data quality access/controls audit).
  • Prior experience in OSS/BSS NOC or Network Deployment domains.
