Job Description:

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

Analyze end-to-end insurance business processes systems and data to identify gaps inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
Recommend process improvements and system enhancements aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
Support initiatives related to policy administration underwriting claims billing and customer service systems.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

Elicit analyze document and validate business and functional requirements through stakeholder interviews workshops and working sessions.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications use cases process flows and data mappings.
Ensure requirements are clear complete testable and aligned with business objectives.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a liaison between business users product owners developers QA teams and vendors.
Support development teams throughout the SDLC to ensure accurate and timely implementation of requirements.
Participate in sprint planning backlog grooming UAT support and defect resolution activities.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including business requirement documents (BRDs) functional requirement documents (FRDs) process flow diagrams user guides and training materials.
Ensure documentation complies with internal standards and regulatory guidelines relevant to the insurance industry.

Required Experience

12 years experience as a Business Analyst
5 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably within the Insurance domain.
Strong understanding of insurance operations workflows and regulatory considerations.
Proven expertise in requirements gathering business process modeling and functional documentation.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
Proficiency with business process modeling tools (e.g. Visio BPMN tools).
Familiarity with business intelligence reporting tools and data analysis techniques.
Experience supporting UAT and working with QA teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
