Job Title: Purchase Deputy Manager – Chemical Plant
Reports To: Purchase Manager / Plant Head
Job Summary:
Manage direct procurement of raw materials chemicals and plant equipment ensuring timely supply cost optimization and compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Source negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers.
Maintain vendor relationships and monitor performance.
Coordinate with Production Quality Logistics and Finance for seamless supply.
Track market trends pricing and supply risks.
Prepare purchase orders contracts and reports.
Supervise and mentor junior procurement staff.
Qualifications & Skills:
years of procurement experience in chemical or process industries.
Strong negotiation analytical and vendor management skills.
ERP proficiency and good command of MS Office.
Leadership communication and teamwork abilities.
