JOB SUMMARY

Entry-level debug technician/programmer. Responsible for the Structural Test Engineering Process and the attributes that can affect the process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Increase production yields in a real-time fashion by interpreting and analyzing data then applying process fixes for certain NDF-type failures to hit department goals and/or driving manufacturing issues to the appropriate department for root cause and corrective action.
Become proficient in fixture mechanics: including probe replacement fixture hardware repair / replacement and fixture operation.
Become proficient in lower-level software debugging including shorts JX/OX pins testjet and analog type failures.
Apply analysis and repair in order to meet department goals for minimal test downtime.
Provide solutions and training of high-level diagnostic issues to the diagnostic technicians.
Prevent Structural test escapes.
Update and generate documentation as required.
Maintain a continuous flow of the manufacturing line and meeting production goals while performing the assigned test duties.
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
Ability to apply of various programming languages and editors including but not limited to: BT-Basic vi and emacs.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
Advanced PC skills including training and knowledge of Jabils software packages.

Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos.
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rate ratio and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
