Trusts & Estates Litigation Attorney
Location: Uniondale NY (Hybrid)
Company Overview
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Litigation Attorney to join its growing fiduciary litigation practice. This role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated estate and trust disputes while working closely with experienced practitioners in a collaborative supportive environment. Attorneys in this group work on meaningful matters involving fiduciaries beneficiaries and complex estate issues.
Responsibilities
- Represent fiduciaries and beneficiaries in trusts and estates litigation matters
- Handle contested probate proceedings accountings and fiduciary disputes
- Draft pleadings motions and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and assist with litigation strategy
- Work with attorneys and support staff on estate administration matters
- Manage multiple client matters and court deadlines
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New York Bar
- Minimum of 6 years of trusts & estates or commercial litigation experience
- Strong interest in fiduciary litigation
- Excellent legal research writing and analytical skills
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $160000 $225000 (based on experience)
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical dental life insurance 401(k) and paid time off
- Hybrid schedule (3 days in office 2 remote)
