CAMBA serves a diverse cross section of New Yorkers from new mothers in Brownsville to job seekers in the Rockaways. More than half of our clients are immigrants and refugees from around the globe. Over 85% of our families are in living in poverty reflecting the challenges faced by nearly 1.7 million New Yorkers today.

The Quality Assurance Department supports CAMBAs supportive housing portfolio by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting high-quality service delivery across all housing programs. The departmentis responsible formonitoring program performance conducting auditsidentifyingrisks and supporting continuous quality improvement efforts.

What The Quality Assurance Director Does:

  • Maintain professional relationships with staff and uphold confidentiality

  • Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol & Procedures.

  • Comply withany and allFederal State City and CAMBA security and privacy policies intended to protect the security and privacy of individually identifiable health information.

  • Develop and implement Quality Assurance policies procedures and monitoring tools across supportive housing programs.

  • Conduct and oversee audits of client files including assessments independent living plans progress notes and incident reports.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements (HPD OMH DOHMH HUD HRA etc.).

  • Monitor program performance and analyze data toidentifytrends gaps and areas for improvement.

  • Develop and oversee corrective action plans for underperforming programs or staff.

  • Review incident trends andidentifyhigh-risk cases or sites requiring intervention.

  • Communicate with peers in other CAMBA programs on issues related to client progress and best program practices.

  • Work with direct reporting staff to set staff performance targetsin accordance withcontract requirements.

  • Develop and document all program activities.

  • Collaborate withVice PresidentsProgram Directors and Program Managers to strengthen service delivery and documentation practices.

  • Provide technicalassistanceand guidance to program leadershipregardingcompliance and quality improvement.

  • Develop and support staff training initiatives based on audit findings andidentifiedgaps.

  • Prepare and present quality assurance reports to executive leadership.

  • Support programs in preparation for audits monitoring visits and funder reviews.

  • Participate in staff/funder/outside agency meetings as requested.

  • Immediately report to seniorleadershipany incidents or findings that may pose risk to the organization.

  • Tasks may bemodifiedexpandedand/or assigned over time.

What are theQualifications for the Position:

EducationLicensesand/or Certifications Required:

  • Master Degree orLicensedMasters degree in Social Work Psychology ora relatedfield. (A license is requiredoftheseMastersDegrees: Social Work (LMSW or LCSW) Mental Health Counseling Counseling/Guidance Art Therapy).

Minimum Experiences and Skills Required:

  • At least 1 year of Quality Assurance Experience

  • Strong analytical & math skills.

  • Excellent written& verbalcommunication.

  • Computer literacyinMicrosoft Office Suite.

  • Strong organization time management and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of supportive housing services operations

Pre and/or Post Employment Requirements:

  • As a Mandated Reporter you mustimmediatelyreport suspected incidents/cases abuse and neglect to the Vulnerable Persons Central Register (VPCR) Hotline at 1- and complete a CAMBA Incident Report

  • Obtain Criminal History Checks (CHC) fingerprinting through the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) and the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs (Justice System) and Staff Exclusion List (SEL) clearance.

Compensation: $80000 - $90000 annually
When salary ranges are listed the range would represent the low and high end for the applicable position & program. The salary offered would be based on various factors unique to each program and includes but is not limited to experience education budget and/or program size internal equity skills and other factors that may be required for the position and organization.

Status: Full-time (35 hours per week)
