Tort Litigation Attorney Los Angeles CA
A Los Angeles-based law firm is seeking a Tort Litigation Attorney to join its litigation team due to increased workload.
Position Overview:
This role is suited for an attorney with 35 years of litigation experience particularly in tort matters such as negligence and premises liability. The position requires the ability to manage cases independently while working within a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in tort litigation matters
- Handle claims involving negligence negligent hiring supervision retention and premises liability
- Draft pleadings motions memoranda and discovery
- Manage cases from inception through resolution
- Take and defend depositions and assist with trial preparation
Qualifications:
- 35 years of litigation and tort law experience
- Strong research writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
- Trial preparation experience preferred
- Public entity experience preferred but not required
- Active California Bar license
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $150000 $225000
- 1900 annual billable requirement
