40% - Delivering education content to enhance learning outcomes of students.
30% - Designing relevant course materials lesson plans and participate in curriculum development.
20% - Providing academic advising mentoring students and answering their questions on course materials.
10% - Assessing student progress through assignments quizzes and examinations.

  1. PharmD or PhD in a science related field.
  2. Knowledge in two or more areas of: modern biochemistry chemical biology physiochemistry medicinal chemistry pharmacology or organic chemistry or related fields.
  3. Experience teaching professional students in particular pharmacist students

Position Overview
This is a Lecturer opening which is a non-tenure-track member of the faculty whose primary role is instructional teaching Pharm D students within the professional pharmacy program with no obligations to perform research or service. This is a one-year appointment through May 16 2027. This position will teach courses within one or more of the departments: Medicinal Chemistry Pharmacology & Toxicology and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. This position will be in-person on the Lawrence Kansas campus.
