Job Summary
This is a part-time fixed term faculty position with an initial appointment of one-year and the possibility of renewal. The appointment will begin July 1 2026 with teaching responsibilities beginning on the first day of classes August 17 2026. Duties will include directing the Viol Consort chamber ensemble. Additional responsibilities include recruiting students planning and delivering public concerts with the ensemble possible collaboration in faculty performances and student mentoring.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
PhD in Musicology and 3 years of college-level teaching experience. Professional teaching experience in historically informed performance along with viola da gamba performance expertise.
