General Manager - Premium Steakhouse
About the Opportunity
Were seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our steakhouse. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences and building a strong team culture. We offer competitive compensation including base salary performance bonuses and equity participation in the business.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $80000 - $100000 (based on experience)
- Performance-based bonus program

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee all daily restaurant operations ensuring consistent quality service excellence and profitability
- Maintain high standards for food quality presentation and kitchen operations
- Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory ordering and vendor relationships to optimize costs while maintaining quality
Financial Performance
- Develop and manage budgets P&L statements and financial forecasts
- Drive revenue growth through effective marketing promotions and guest experience initiatives
- Control labor and food costs while maintaining service standards
- Analyze sales data and adjust strategies to meet financial targets
Team Leadership
- Recruit hire train and develop front-of-house and back-of-house staff
- Create and maintain a positive professional work environment
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching
- Build a culture of accountability teamwork and guest-first service
Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest receives outstanding service and memorable dining experiences
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Build relationships with regular customers and the local community
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements
Qualifications
Required:
- 3-5 years of restaurant management experience preferably in upscale/casual dining or steakhouse concepts
- Proven track record of financial management and achieving revenue targets
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams of 20 employees
- Knowledge of food safety alcohol service regulations and labor laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Serv-Safe certification (or ability to obtain)
Preferred:
- Experience with steakhouse or fine dining operations
- Familiarity with the Springfield market and local dining scene
- Background in wine and beverage programs
- POS system proficiency
