Job Title: Breakfast Club SEND 1:1 Support Buddy
Location: Chellaston Fields Spencer Academy Derby DE73 6WS
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: 15 per hour (plus holiday pay)
Work Days: Monday Tuesday Thursday & Friday
Working hours: 7.15 - 9.00
Contract: 7 hrs per week - Term Time Only
NB: Experienced & Qualified SEND is essential for this role.

Junior Adventures Group UK is on the lookout for a happy enthusiastic and passionate 1:1 SEN Activity Playworker to join our ever growing family. This is a complex role which calls for the expertise of a confident and proactive individual with existing experience supporting children with SEN.
As an 1:1 SEN Activity Playworker you will....
- Support children within our Holiday Club
- Support children in all areas with sensory activities and games.
- Engage with children through play and sports.
- Supervise children in a safe and welcoming environment.
- Create an inclusive and fun atmosphere where possible.
- Experience in either teaching or supporting PMLD children (Profound and multiple learning difficulties.
- Ability to manage confrontation and challenging behaviors.
- Must have patience and be able to respond to a childs needs.
- Supervise children in a safe and welcoming environment.
* Experience for this role is a must have.

This role requires compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
