As an IT Technician within the IT & Digital User Experience Team you will support the delivery of reliable highquality digital services that enable staff to perform their roles effectively. This is a handson customerfocused role offering variety professional development and opportunities to work across the Orbis geography supporting essential public services.
You will provide frontline technical support configure and deploy devices diagnose and resolve ICT issues and apply ICT Service Management best practice. The role involves travel working to policies and legislative requirements and maintaining awareness of evolving technologies standards and service improvements.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Willingness and ability to travel across the Orbis geography as required to meet the demands of the role.
- Strong understanding of ICT Service Management best practice with the ability to apply this in a live operational environment.
- ITIL qualification(s) in relevant areas are desirable.
- Advanced practical knowledge of relevant ICT technologies and the associated technical and professional disciplines.
- Knowledge of policies procedures and legislative requirements relevant to the IT service area.
- Ability to maintain and continuously develop awareness of professional technical and legislative changes affecting IT & Digital services and its customers.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer-focused IT services ensuring standards of excellence are consistently met.
