As a Security Officer - Patrol Cadence in Lower Manhattan you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors respond to requests and communicate observations to site leadership while documenting activity. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and property management by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner contacting property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies corridors parking areas loading docks and perimeter points noting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and common areas verify credentials or visitor authorization when required and assist with directing foot and vehicle traffic in accordance with site policies.
• Complete timely reports and logs for incidents patrol activity and observations and communicate key updates to supervisors and/or site contacts during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be 21 Years of Age.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Loss Prevention - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
