As a Security Officer Patrol in Olympia WA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support access awareness throughout the site. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and document observations and activities according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings work areas parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions in accordance with site procedures while reporting suspicious behavior maintenance concerns and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with staff visitors and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents requests for assistance and/or changing site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
