The Principal GenAI Product Manager EMAP will be responsible for shaping and executing Experian EMAPs AIenhanced product strategy across the Ascend and Fraud portfolios.
This is a specialist role in the EMAP Product Management team. The role focuses on embedding Generative AI capabilities into core products reimagining customer propositions accelerating innovation and driving adoption across diverse EMAP markets.
Operating horizontally across Product Engineering Data Science Client Delivery and Market Product teams the role acts as a bridge between global GenAI strategy regional priorities and market execution.
The ideal individual will bring:

What Youll Do
GenAI Product Strategy & Direction
- Own the regional GenAI product strategy and roadmap for EMAP across Ascend and Fraud informed by:
- EMAP customer VOC and market needs
- Regional regulatory and risk considerations
- Global GenAI platforms priorities and capabilities
- Identify where Generative AI can materially improve customer outcomes product differentiation and operational efficiency.
- Translate emerging GenAI capabilities into clear product intent priorities and roadmaps.
Product Discovery & Productisation
- Lead discovery of highimpact GenAI opportunities across customer journeys and internal product workflows.
- Define use cases with clear value hypotheses success measures and risk considerations.
- Drive productisation of GenAI capabilities moving from concept and proof points into scalable productionready features embedded in core products.
- Ensure solutions are designed for repeatability supportability and regional scale rather than bespoke delivery.
Scaling & Adoption Across EMAP
- Work with markets and regional functions to scale GenAI use cases across EMAP with primary focus on customerfacing innovation and considering productivity enablement where it supports product outcomes
- Define how GenAI capabilities will be adopted measured and evolved over time across markets.
- Track outcomes including adoption productivity gains customer impact and product differentiation.
Embedding GenAI into Core Platforms
- Partner with Engineering and Data Science to embed GenAI capabilities into existing Ascend and Fraud products rather than standalone tools.
- Ensure GenAI features are explainable and auditable by design; aligned to Experians product operating model and naturally integrated into customer and analyst workflows
- Balance rapid innovation with longterm platform integrity trust and regulatory compliance
CrossFunctional & GTM Collaboration
- Act as a senior product partner across Engineering Architecture Data Science Client Delivery Market Product and regional GTM teams.
- Collaborate with GTM to shape AIdriven value propositions pricing inputs and adoption models ensuring clear and responsible client messaging.
- Influence prioritisation and solution design through strong product judgement evidencebased tradeoffs and clear articulation of customer and commercial value.
- Operate effectively in a matrixed global environment without formal line authority.
Governance Risk & Responsible AI
- Work closely with regional and global AI technology teams to ensure GenAI governance controls and guardrails are embedded into product design and delivery.
- Ensure GenAI product capabilities align with:
- Product development and risk frameworks
- Legal compliance and regulatory requirements across EMAP
- Responsible AI principles (fairness transparency traceability)
Client CoCreation & Ecosystem Engagement
- Cocreate GenAI capabilities with selected clients to validate value usability and adoption.
- Partner with global technology and AI platform teams to leverage external GenAI providers where appropriate in line with Experian standards and governance.
GenAI Thought Leadership & Storytelling
- Act as an internal GenAI product ambassador for EMAP.
- Share success stories learnings and impact narratives to support alignment adoption and momentum across product teams and markets

- Tangible improvements in customer decision quality speed and usability

- Significant experience as a Senior Product Manager / Principal PM in complex software platform or datadriven environments.
- Strong grounding in product discovery productisation and outcomebased prioritisation.
- Deep understanding of Generative AI concepts patterns and limitations.
- Ability to translate AI capabilities into practical customerready product features.
- Proven ability to lead through influence rather than hierarchy.
- Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders and technical teams.
- Experience operating in regulated or hightrust environments is highly advantageous.
