Job Summary

Position Overview

The Testing Manager owns the end-to-end testing strategy planning execution oversight and quality assurance for the RECITEprogram. The roleis responsible forestablishingscalable testing processes at an industrial level coordinating test workstreams across multiple vendors and stakeholders and ensuring thatprogramdeliverables meet agreed quality standards before release or go-live.

What you will do

Testing Strategy & Governance

  • Define and own the overall testing strategy covering all test phases (SIT UAT regression performance etc.).
  • Establish andmaintaina Testing Management Framework aligned withdormakabaPPMmethodology.
  • Develop and maintain the master test plan test schedules and entry/exit criteria for each test phase.
  • Ensure testing activities are embedded withinprogramgovernance and milestone reviews.

Test Planning & Execution Oversight

  • Coordinate and oversee test planning activities across workstreams and delivery teams
  • Define test scope test case coverage and traceability to requirements/user stories.
  • Manage the creation review and maintenance of test documentation and artefacts.
  • Oversee daily test execution progress tracking defect lifecycle end-to-end via agreed tooling ( Jira).

Defect Management & Quality Reporting

  • Own defect triageprioritization and escalation processes in collaboration withprogramand technical leads.
  • Produce regular test status reports quality dashboards and go/no-go recommendations forprogramleadership.
  • Analyzedefect trends and drive root-cause analysis for systemic quality issues.

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

  • Act as the single point of contact for all testing-related matters
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to plan and coordinate UAT including training scheduling and sign-off.
  • Hold vendors accountabletotesting SLAs quality KPIs and agreed test deliverables.
  • Represent the testing function inprogramsteering committees and workstream meetings.

People & Process Improvement

  • Build and managethetesting teamandvirtual community of testers (internal staff and/or vendor resources).
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing tooling automation readiness and test asset reuse.
  • Support knowledge transfer and documentation to reduce dependency on external freelanceresource.

What we require

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles with at least 3 yearsina testmanagement/lead capacity.
  • Proventrack recordmanaging testing at scale in complex multi-vendor ITprogramsor transformations.
  • Experience with SAP ERP or large-scale enterprise application testingstronglypreferred.
  • Hands-on familiarity with test management tools ( ALM/Quality Center Xray Zephyr or equivalent).
  • ISTQB Test Manager certification (Advanced Level) preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of test types: functional non-functional regression integration performance and UAT.
  • Proficiencyin defect tracking and test management platforms
  • Understanding of AgileframworkslikeSAFeand waterfall delivery models and how testing adapts in each context.
  • Ability to define and track test metrics KPIs and quality gates.
  • Experience with test automation

  • Strong analytical mindset with a structured methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences.
  • Comfortable operating in a multilingual multi-cultural and geographically distributed environment.
  • High level of ownership and accountability; capable of working independently and driving outcomes.
  • Englishbusiness fluentrequired; German is a strong advantage.
