Job Description
As a Security Officer - Dispatch Console in Albany GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As a Dispatch Officer at a busy healthcare location you will help coordinate security-related responses by monitoring activity answering calls dispatching officers and supporting incident documentation. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following security-related procedures hospital policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Receive calls for service and alarms prioritize incidents and dispatch security-related personnel and/or medical response resources per site-specific protocols.
- Monitor CCTV access control and other security-related systems document observations and report irregular activity to site leadership and local authorities when needed.
- Maintain accurate shift logs incident reports and key communications records including radio traffic phone calls and escalation notifications.
- Support regular and random patrol operations by coordinating coverage tracking officer locations and providing clear directions to incident locations throughout the campus and perimeter.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be 21 years of age.
- Be able to lift more than 20 lbs preferred.
- Have X-Ray screening experience preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
