Job Summary
Ocala Health is a seeking a cardiac physician assistant to join an established cardiothoracic surgery practice.
Qualified Candidates:
Prior cardiac experience ideal
Proficient inveinharvesting (EVH and open) preferred
Join two cardiothoracic surgeons and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
80% of time spent in hospital / 20% in clinic
Hospital work focused on inpatient rounding consults discharges some ICU & surgery
Firstassistin procedures
Share call with Advanced Practice Providers
Must be NCCPA board certified
Practice specializes in the latest minimally invasive cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgical techniques (mitral valve repair thoracic aortic aneurysm repair TAVR) and thoracic procedures
