The opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Field Service Engineer and be an expert. This role allows you to gain in-depth knowledge of the specific market and provide our clients with the best-in-class product. Youll play a crucial role in making a significant impact on our business growth and customer satisfaction and contribute to building a team/function. How youll make an impact

You will perform installation commissioning and configuration of equipment and systems at customer sites and conduct routine preventative maintenance and calibration to maximize equipment uptime and extend lifespan.
You will diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues performing repairs and replacing faulty components as needed and provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of Hitachi products.
You will document service activities including detailed reports on repairs installations and customer interactions.
You will maintain accurate inventory of parts and tools and manage service requests efficiently and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures as well as industry standards. Travel extensively to various customer locations.
You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background

You hold a bachelors degree in electrical engineering Mechanical Engineering Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Required with 2 years of experience in field service technical support or a similar role preferably within the industrial automation or energy sectors.
Strong understanding of electronic mechanical and software systems.
Excellent communication interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
