The Team

You will join a collaborative and dynamic data team responsible for building scalable data infrastructure that supports business intelligence analytics and operational reporting. The team works closely with engineering product and business stakeholders to ensure reliable access to high-quality data across systems such as ERP CRM e-commerce platforms and POS tools.

The Role

As a Data Engineer you will contribute to the design development and maintenance of data pipelines and warehouse solutions to ensure efficient access to critical business data. You will support the integration of multiple data sources develop automation scripts for ETL/ELT processes and help maintain cloud-based data infrastructure. This role also involves collaborating with business teams to support reporting and data visualization initiatives while ensuring data quality governance and reliability across the organization.

The Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science Information Systems or a related field
2 years of professional experience in data engineering analytics or database management
Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation
Familiarity with cloud environments (preferably AWS) and data warehousing concepts
Experience supporting ETL/ELT workflows and data transformations
Exposure to BI tools such as Power BI Looker Studio Tableau or AWS QuickSight
Understanding of data integration from systems such as ERP CRM e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify) and POS systems
Experience with tools like Airbyte or similar data integration platforms is a plus
Knowledge of retail or e-commerce data environments is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Fluent English required; Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus
