Sales Specialist Security Operations (SecOps)

You would serve as a trusted SecOps advisor driving strategic business development and market growth for Fortinets Security Operations portfolio across Italy. This role combines deep security expertise with commercial insight empowering our customers and partners to confidently evolve their cybersecurity strategies in alignment with Fortinets leadership in the market in Italy.

This role will focus on accelerating our progress in the SecOps domain complementing an already strong team with a more sales-driven market-expanding focus.

As a Sales Specialist SecOps you will:

  • Conduct detailed research to identify new trends evolving customer needs and growth opportunities in the SecOps space
  • Design and implement go-to-market strategies focused on relevant verticals and customer segments for security operations solutions
  • Monitor market activity to ensure Fortinet solutions are well positioned against emerging threats and industry shifts
  • Identify and engage prospective customers and build a high-quality sales pipeline focused on SecOps technologies
  • Develop and nurture relationships with enterprise clients technology partners and cybersecurity professionals to support long-term growth
  • Collaborate with sales teams to guide opportunities to closure contribute to negotiations and ensure a positive customer experience
  • Meet or exceed agreed revenue goals by promoting Fortinets SecOps portfolio
  • Establish productive partnerships with resellers global system integrators (GSIs) managed security service providers (MSSPs) and other technology collaborators with a strong emphasis on channel engagement and enablement
  • Engage in customer conversations to understand business challenges delivering value-based presentations proposals and demonstrations
  • Act as a point of contact throughout the pre-sales engagement cycle ensuring alignment between customer goals and Fortinet capabilities
  • Partner with product marketing engineering and analyst teams to shape product improvements and support continuous market relevance
  • Participate in key industry events conferences and forums to stay current on trends and strengthen Fortinets presence in the SecOps ecosystem
  • Champion Fortinets SecOps portfolio across SIEM SOAR EDR/XDR MDR and incident response technologies to drive broader market adoption

We Are Looking For:

  • 5 years of experience in business development or solution sales preferably within cybersecurity security operations or managed services
  • A proven ability to achieve or exceed targets in a B2B setting
  • Experience working with or for MSSPs vendors or technology providers in the security operations field
  • Familiarity with key SecOps technologies such as SIEM SOAR EDR/XDR incident response platforms and threat intelligence
  • Strong communication and engagement skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze customer needs create solutions and contribute meaningfully to partner or customer success
  • Able to work both collaboratively and independently in a dynamic environment
  • A proactive commercially minded approach suited to a business development overlay role focused on market expansion
