Why this role matters
Youll be crucial in ensuring our cloud applications are stable secure and available around the clock. Working closely with engineering security and support youll drive improvements in observability automation and incident response across Ivantis SaaS platforms. Your technical contributions will directly impact how customers experience Ivanti productsmaking a difference to businesses everywhere.
What youll do
Deploy manage and secure Ivantis production SaaS environments (AWS Azure)
Collaborate with distributed teams to solve complex infrastructure and application problems
Automate common and repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency and reliability
Write and update documentation and train peers on process improvements
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations (follow-the-sun model) for rapid issue response and resolution
Work a unique 4-day week (FridayMonday 8 AM7 PM IST) to support global coverage
What you will bring
BSc in Computer Science related field or equivalent experience
3 years relevant industry experience (2 years with an achieved BSc)
Proficiency in Python and at least one of: Java Golang C#
Experience with Bash or PowerShell scripting
Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure public cloud platforms
Troubleshooting skills for Java applications network and storage infrastructure
Hands-on experience with Linux (Debian RHEL SUSE Slackware) and Windows environments
Experience with modern databases (SQL Server PostgreSQL Redis Kafka MongoDB Elasticsearch)
Ability to configure and tune web servers (HA Proxy Apache Nginx IIS etc.)
Skills in monitoring tools (New Relic DataDog Splunk)
Familiarity with container orchestration (AWS EKS Azure AKS)
Experience using deployment pipeline tools (Ansible Jenkins GitHub Actions)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development proficiency
Strong desire to learn and apply new technologies and best practices
Excellent spoken and written English for global team collaboration
Nice-to-haves:
Prior experience in Site Reliability or DevOps roles
Certifications in Cloud Kubernetes Linux or software engineering
Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2 ISO-27001 FedRAMP IRAP) and privacy standards (GDPR PIPEDA)
