What you will be doing in this role
This is a meaningful patient-facing role where your compassion customer service skills and attention to detail will truly make a vitalcommunicationsupporthelping to triage calls relay messages and connect medical nursing allied health and external services.
Youllensurethe ward runssmoothly by organising andmaintainingdocuments managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and making sure office supplies are coordinatemeetings and ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly and with care.
Youllensure the environment stays clean safe and welcoming for everyonewhilewarmly greetingpatients families and visitors guiding them through ward procedures and helping with the sign-in process.
This is a Full-Time role working alongside another Ward Clerk to provide support during shifts from 10am to 6pm Monday to Sunday.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with others takes pride in deliveringaccurate high-quality work and thrives in a fast-paced patient-centredenvironment. Experience in a healthcare setting is highly valued as itdemonstratesfamiliarity with medical terminology and the dynamics of a clinical space.
Youllhave:
Previousexperience as a Ward Clerk or in a similarrole is ahealthcare setting(highly desirable).
Proven experience in customer servicewith excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A professional manner and strong customer service focus.
Youllbe confident and haveinitiative allowing you to make decisions independently.
Competent in Microsoft Word Excel and basic computer functions.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
Enthusiastic and able to foster a welcoming reassuring atmosphere.
Certificate IV in Administration or a similar qualification(desirable).
Above all youwill bring a warm empathetic approach and a strong commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience.
